"The performance by yourself and musicians at the reception in the Eden Room at Beamish Hall Hotel was just what was required to round off a brilliant day.
My wife and I and our daughter and son-in-law compliment your goodself for the excellence of your singing and your musicians for the quality of their playing. The wedding party were well entertained. You provided a wide range of light and cheerful songs & helped to create a jolly and happy evevning. 'Love was certainly in the air' as you created the right mood for the occasion.
People remarked on the fine voice you have and the versatility of yourself and the musicians. We were impressed by your stamina, with two long sets and hardly a break between tunes. The sound level was just right and your own diction was splendid. The musicians were skilful and very smart.
So a really enjoyable evening was had by all. I am therefore ever so pleased I took the plunge to hire you for the special occasion. The wedding day was blessed with sunshine and warmth, and you and the band certainly contributed that in the evening. It was a shame that exhaustion of the guests sadly curtailed the proceedings earlier than expected!
I was pleased to have a brief chat and reiterate how refreshing it is to have a singer as down-to-earth and as modest and as attractive as you, Anna. I hope your career continues to be successful. Your musicians also deserve their compliments. You have a good team of players and I wish them well also.
